The International Fund for Environment and Ecology is a non-profit corporation. We are a United States IRS 501(c)(3) tax deductible and tax exempt, non-profit, public charity in search of donors, contributors and grantors. IFEE was formed by Africans in the Diaspora dedicated to finding solutions to the growing environmental, ecological and climate-change problems in their home countries and around the World.
Our mission is to collect funds through donations, grants and public contributions. We will use the collected funds to assist displaced families and communities (eco-refugees) around the world to re-settle in new living spaces, reclaim farmlands for food production, clean up contaminated and polluted lands and waters, develop and adapt low-cost solutions, and tackle other environmental, ecological and climate-related issues.
In collaboration with local communities and government agencies, Diaspora communities and NGOs, we will also sponsor:
Campaigns across Africa to clean the water, soil, and air in specific regions of that continent, starting with Nigeria; Education initiatives to heighten community awareness of environmental, ecological, and climate change matters in Africa; Policy/advocacy skills development to integrate community voices to policies; Engagement of Diaspora skills and knowledge; Implementation of waste-to-energy conversion programs at the communal level; Adoption of green and environmentally friendly household products; Replication of successful tree planting programs; and, Dissemination of research, studies and assessment reports to bring greater involvement of interested and affected parties to the World’s environmental, ecological and climate concerns.
